About Us

The Port Glasgow Masjid and Community Centre Project is led by a dedicated group of local community members committed to establishing a new Masjid and Community Centre in Port Glasgow.

Our aim is to create a welcoming and inclusive space that will serve as the spiritual, educational, and social heart of the Muslim community. The Masjid will host daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Taraweeh, Eid, and other essential Islamic services.

Beyond worship, the Community Centre will provide youth programs, women’s initiatives, educational classes, interfaith dialogue, and community outreach. Through these services, we seek to strengthen faith, nurture learning, and build bridges of understanding and compassion within both the Muslim and wider communities.
